Bishop Andriy Rabiy to Celebrate Divine Liturgy on May 4 during the 121st Annual State Convention of the Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus

 

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA.–On Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 4 pm, Bishop Andriy Rabiy will celebrate the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom during the 121st State Convention of the Pa. Knight of Columbus.  He will also be the homilist at the Convention Liturgy and will be the main speaker at the Convention Banquet Saturday evening.

 

Bishop Andriy has been serving as the apostolic administrator of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia since April 16, 2018.

 

Concelebrating clergy will be Very Rev. Roman Pitula, Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Philadelphia; Rev. Ihor Bloshchynskyy, Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Melrose Park, Pa.; Very Rev. Taras Svirchuk, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Newark, NJ;  and Rev. Volodymyr Kostyuk, St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Jenkintown, Pa.

 

Seminarians from St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Seminary, Washington, D.C. will be the servers during the Divine Liturgy.

 

On Friday afternoon, Archbishop Charles Chaput, OFM, Cap. of the Latin Archdiocese of Philadelphia will celebrate the Annual Memorial Mass.

 

Three hundred members of the Knights of Columbus, together with their families, from all over the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are expected to attend this annual state convention.

 

The convention, hosted by the Eastern Region of the Knights of Columbus,  will be held May 3-5, 2019 at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel Philadelphia-Valley Forge, 301 Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, Pa.
