CREATIVE ART EXHIBIT

UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

830 N. Franklin St., Philadelphia, PA 19123

Volodymyr Kaufman has created the logo for the Ukrainian Catholic University, the Coat of Arms for the Eparchy of Volodymyr in Paris, France, and for Metropolitan Borys.

He has been the lead artist at Dzyga – a cultural phenomenon in Lviv, Ukraine that has sown seeds for the flourishing of contemporary art in Lviv and throughout Ukraine.

On Saturday, November 2nd, the Ukrainian Museum in New York opened an exhibit of his work on war and our increasingly complacent reaction to it.

Mr. Kaufman worked on Metropolitan Borys’ Coat of Arms for two years and has brought an itinerary of the project to help one understand how an artist works, from concept to completion.

You are cordially invited to the opening of an exhibit which leads the visitor through the artistic process.

The exhibit opens on November 9, 2019 at 5:30 PM at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception located at 830 N. Franklin Street, Philadelphia, PA  19123.  The display will also be available for viewing on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 after each Divine Liturgy.

All are welcome to witness and experience the artistic process of the making of the Coat of Arms of our newly appointed Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak.
